Topic: when i get discouraged
According to the CORI website 90% of patients lose 75% of their excess weight within 2 years of having the micro-pouch procedure done. Well, i took that info and plugged it into the weightloss planner on this site and low and behold, I AM WHERE I SHOULD BE, even 1-2 lbs further ahead. I sometimes think i look at how much better others are doing than myself, but fail to realize that I am only human, i make mistakes, and i am NOT 'other people'. I am me, and I am still 80lbs lighter than I was this time last year. I still struggle with people giving me compliments, andI have had a friend, that hasnt seen me since b4 surgery, tell me that i looked 'hot'. I was like, wtf, no one has EVER told me that before, and well, I kinda liked it. I know my self esteem has gotten better since surgery, but I know there are days when it can get pretty bad. I onyl hope that in the end I will be able to look back and say that I have no regrets. Right now, the only thing that is keeping me from saying that I am totally satisfied is the fact that I am carrying most of my excess weight around my tummy area and that is keeping me out of the 'true size' that I am. I am about a large in top and still a 18 in pants. IT sux cause i cannot go and buy dresses in the size that I should be cause my panni si in the away--I hope to have this fixed by christmas next year. Ok, I am jsut rambling now, but thought I should share a little something with y'all.

Topic: RE: Anyone having Gall Bladder issues? Help!
Hi. I have a friend who had her RNY 7/03. She had to have her gall bladder out in about April or so of 2004. She was only out of commission for about 2 weeks, although she was up and about within a few days. You CAN have it removed laproscopically, also. What you heard was not correct. Even if you had RNY lap, you can still have gall bladder out lap.

I finally hit 199. I am so happy I couldn't wait to see the 100's and get out of the 200's. I have lost 130 lbs now. And it is so good to see the 100's again. Now I am 39 lbs away from my goal. Woohoo.

Something about your email to the gentleman that did not need to see his surgeon any longer made me want to reply to you and seek your support for me. Are you available to chat with me every now and again?
