Wish I offer you some advise, but I'm not having those problems. I'm still 57lbs from goal and plateau is my middle name the plateaus are longer then the loosing spells. Good luck I guess I would be calling my surgeon if it were happening to me Belinda

Good go know, I'm going in to see my surgeon on the 27th sometimes we don't think of these things as being related to our surgery. Beinda

Topic: RE: Anyone having Gall Bladder issues? Help!
Yep had mine out about two months ago. They did it as an outpatient and it was done laproscopically. I felt good in about 5 - 6 days. I was not supposed to do any lifting for about two weeks but ya know how that goes if you want something done you have to do it yourself... Good Luck.

You need more like 1800--2000 calories, Dawn. Eat more frequently if you can't eat more at the time, and if dumping isn't a problem for you, do milkshakes. Carolyn

Hi Sheri! This sounds exactly like what happen to me several months ago. I ate the cheese topping off of a slcie of pizza and then I got the most terrible pain and it knocked the wind out of me and last about 40 minutes. I had an ultrasound and Hida Scan done and I developed gall stones. Needless to say I had mine removed lap and was out of the hospital the same day. I was under the weather for about 4-5 days and then I felt pretty good. However, no one mentioned to me the awful diarrhea that we can get if we eat foods high in fat! But I was glad to have the surgery done and over with and it has been just over a month for me and I no longer worry about when the pain is going to start. My only worry now is where is the nearest restroom in case of emergency.

Topic: weakness in my left arm caused by low B Vitiamins
Hi all; met with my WLS yesterday; after he got the latest blood work back. It showed I was low in Vitiamin B1. After discussing this with him; I learned that the weakness; muscle ache in my left arm was not simply a pulled muscle from the gym But the two are related. I am now taking a B shot every week; and the B12 under the tongue tablet daily along with a B1 tablet of 50 mg daily. I was just taking B12 weekly. The doctor said I should have mentioned it to him earlier. But; I honestly thought I just pulled something from doing weights in the gym. Just wanted to pass this info along; and encourage all my November family to make sure you get the blood work done and follow up with your doctor with any muscle/joint pain. hugs to all mark g.
