Okay guys I am just 4 short lbs from the -150 mark! But I am now under 250 for the first time in 12years! I am so psyched! I don't keep track of what I eat on fitday, but I do record weights. I just love looking at the chart going down, down, down! I am now only (a relative term I know) 48lbs to my personal goal, and only 8lbs to my surgeons goal! Chris 394/248!/200

I ended up going to google.com and typing in "How many calories does it take to maintain my weight?" and a bunch of different sites turned up. I'm feeling much better about my calorie intake now, Just hoping I don't increase my calorie CAPACITY any!! =) Take care, Kristen

Well, I went to weigh in today and in three weeks I've lost two whole lbs. And to top it off, one lb was muscle and the other was water! DANG! Well, I have been eating like this for the past few months without realizing how many calories, etc I was eating, and I have still been losing. Of course my wt loss has slowed down, but that's to be expected. I think I'm going to focus on eating much healthier choices instead of freaking out about getting too many calories or carbs. I just want a happy medium. I guess it's time I started eating rigth! I got away with eating whatever and lost lots of wt really fast and easy. But now that's all catching up with me. I'm going to find one of those websites with a calculator that will tell you how many calories you need to consume to be a certain wt. That might help me feel better an give me ome guidlines. Before surgery I had no idea what was normal. I never knew how many calories I ate in a day. I can only imagine it was WAY up there! WHEW! Thanks for the reply and the hugs-- I needed 'em! Take care, Kristen

Hi Kristen After reading your post this morning, I decided to track my eating for the next few days, just to see how I am eating. Sometimes I can eat more than other days, but if I make the right food choices, it shouldn't matter what size food serving we consume. Just curious; are you still losing even with eating 2000 calories? ((((HUGS)))) Dawn

With 38 people responding so far, that makes an average of 109 pounds per person. ((((HUGS)))) Dawn
