Karen, I am right there with you on that one. I simply cannot have it in the house or sooner or later, it is gonna find its way into my tummy. I did start getting those itty bitty little bags of crackers. Even those have plenty of calories. I have learned to be a label reader, as all of us have. Labels can go a long way in the discouraging one from eating category. Is 500 calories really worth the momentary pleasure?

HOLY CRAP! I just started back to tracking my food intake on fitday.com this week and you will not believe I have been eating NEARLY 2000 cals a day!! Holy crap! That freaked me out! Yesteday I tried to be more CAREFUL...but still got 1500, then went out and had two drinks, so that added another 300! Dang!
I am SO ON TOP OF THIS!! I read about people as far out as me who can only eat 1/2 cup of food at a time. NOT ME! I can tolerate just about anything too. What a scary scary thing this is. Well, atleast I'm on top of it and I'm making some changes! Plus I'm being honest with myself. I was about to skip adding the ****tails on fitday.com, but I thought, WHO AM I TRICKING!? That website is a great tool. Especially for someone like me who can just let things get out of control!! WOO!!

Ughhh..but just realized the other day, that the protein shake is almost 500 calories! I haven't been using fitday.com like I used to in the begining and kinda let things slide. (I'm one that should really keep track or WHO KNOWS what I can eat in a day) Anyways, the deal is that I use peanut butter (It's a PB and chocolate coffee drink) and the PB is the main source of calories---190!! Even with reduced fat! Dang! I'm swithcing to SF PB syrup or changing my shake alltogether. NO protein shake is worth 500 calories! HOw do you make yours?
Mine WAS:
10 cubes of ice
two cups fat free milk (will start using 1 cup water and 1 cup FF milk)
2 tablespoons PB
SF chocolate (coffee) syrup
1 scoop protein powder (25 grams)
mixed it all in the blender
It's so yummy and no wonder, with all those calories, anything would taste good!

Hey I make a mock frappuccino too! THat makes my protien shake SO tolerable! Thank God for the blender!!
