I'm at a stall as well. If I understand it right, a plateau happens at a weight that you might have been at for some time in your past. That would be about right. I was this size for a while in my past. I'm trying to up my protein and fluids hoping it will bust that plateau! Good luck everyone! Nancy

Topic: RE: Can I just go to sleep and wake up 8 months from now??
It has always been my dream to wake up thin. Some day I might But, for now, I am almost out of the 300's I am hopeful that I will get to the 100's sometime. I guess we have to keep working toward our goals, and have patience I feel better than I have for years.

Topic: Did you know your profile can be found through Google?
Good Evening! I'm dealing with some crappy family issues as a result to not being aware that is someone Googled my name, my OH profile would come up. Details of what happened (as well as a few responses from Amy Williams) are included in this link. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/TX/postdetail/177806.html?vc=0 Just a warning that if you're using your real name and you Google or search for yourself on any internet search engine, your profile is available to anyone to see. If you're trying to keep your surgery quiet from anyone around you, please think twice before you use your real name in your profile. Blessings, Jennifer 253 / 187 / ???

I started with incontinencer after the birtyh of my second son... 1991. It started with snezing, coughing.. then became the "gotta pee NOW!" And forget about going outside in the cold or sticking my hands in warm water...insta-pee..lol I mentioned this to my OB/GYN at my annual appointment and he checked me.. I had a uterine prolapse.. it was lying on my bladder. I had a hysterectomy in 2000. That pretty well took care of it for me until just the past few months. I think that I just have weaker than usual muscles. I do Kegal exercises to strengthen that area. I suggest talking to your docs. I did take one of the meds for it... but I don't remember the name of it. It did work pretty well. But the final solution was surgery. Hope this helps.. Jacki K from PA

Topic: RE: What is everyone eating these days?
I can eat just about everything I've tried. Only have problems if I don't chew well enough or eat too fast. I have no problem with meats - have had salmon fillets, swordfish, scallops, shrimp, pork tenderloin, chicken breast, ground turkey, ground beef, tuna. Also eating salads - usually baby spinach or broccoli slaw. I use shredded cheese and garbanzo beans for added protein. I like the frozen fruits - it's easy to dish out a small serving and let them thaw. For me it's less waste than eating a partial piece of fruit and tossing the rest. I do occasionally have a half a banana and freeze the remaining slices for use in my protein drinks later. The frozen fruits are great in protein drinks, too. Haven't tried any breads but have had crackers a few times. Haven't tried raw veggies other than the salad greens and mushrooms, only cooked veggies. Haven't had rice but have had several meals with whole wheat pasta, recommended by my nut. I have made seafood stuffed zucchini, chicken fajitas, white chicken chili, taco soup (the recipe is posted on OH at least once a week, ), and shrimp stir fry. I like variety and so far, except for the small portions, I don't really feel like I'm on a 'diet'. And that's the way my nut. wants us to think. We've tried dieting and failed. Now we're just eating healthy and in small portions. Kathy

I haven't tried sugar either, and I have no intention of doing so for as long as possible! The idea of dumping scares me, plus, I'm trying to make good eating habits. I still crave a cheeseburger, though!
