Goal for wk 2 run 3.5 miles mwf
Eliptical 30 min higher intensity add bike 30 min and continue on legs t-th do min of 100 situps m-f rest on sat and sun eat less carbs!!!!
Ok so heres the update for today. I ran again today. This time Im not sure how many miles but Im sure it is the most I have done. Time wise I did 45 min without stopping. I ran on our crushed rock paths instead of the sidewalk and had alot less fatigue in my legs. as soon as I got on the concrete the fatigue started right up. Because its a path its hard to be sure how far it is. I did get in 100 situps but I am sucking really bad at the less carb part of my goal. In my defense I am trying to eat more calories and the carbs have the most(thats my story and Im sticking to it! lol) I did lose another pound though so that is 3 lbs this week. Im doing great about getting in my water over 100oz a day plus coffee and Minutemaid Lite cherrylimeade Those are the only 2 things I drink that is no****er.
Keep up the good work

Connie;
What are you eating? Why are you eating things that aren't protein dense? Are you exercising? Are you getting your water in? Have you attended any follow-up appointment with your surgeon? What does he say?
If your pouch was not formed correctly, that would probably be grounds for revision, but it doesn't sound like you are following the post-op guidelines for nutrition. If you're not going to do the follow-up care, why would you put your body through another surgery?
I am not flaming you when I say this, I'm responding to how I interpreted your post. WLS is not a magic bullet. There is work involved to be successful. I think you need to take a look at what you've been doing and what you need to do to succeed and decide if you're willing to do that. If you are, then go back to basics for a few weeks. Go back to liquids if that's what you need to do to get on track. Then stick with protein firs****er, vitamins and exercise. Get the carbs, especially the processed carbs, out of your diet.
Blessings,
Jennifer

How much did you have to lose? If you were/are a "lightweight" then your loss will be slower but should still be steady. Have you talked to your surgeon? Don't be afraid to ask him/her because your surgeon needs to know what is going on...good or bad. I'm sooo glad you posted because it means you have NOT lost motivation.
