Hi there to all my friends here on the board, How is everyone doing? I have been feeling much better since my hernia surgery,I had on September 25th. I am beginning to digest food better now.No more pains. . The incision is now closing up. I had trouble with it. I had an infection and it opened. I am heading upstate today to see my best friend. I figure I have the time. I am returning to work on November 22. I had to take 8 weeks off after the incision opened. I am maintaining the weight loss,not losing or gaining. I can't exercise so its hard. I have been in the hospital 3 times after my WLS and sure hope this part of my life is over with. Have a great day. Just thought I would give you guys and update. I am looking forward to my one year anniversary. time for me. Lorraine

Hi Jes, how are you doing? Thanks so much. It is pretty major and I'm so thrilled! Nothing special to celebrate - I'm just so happy! This surgery has really been amazing to me and I can't remember when I've been so happy! Have a great night.

They want 3 months worth of me complaining to my doctor is what it boils down to. They want me to complain about rashes from the excess skin, my PS said to write in my appeal that it interfers with exercising, sexual activity, buying clothing, and even say that it effects my daily hyigene. You know how insurance is.......paper paper paper paper....what do they do with all that paper? So I will be making appointments to speak with my doctor and will be taking some lovely photos of the excess skin with any break outs etc that occur for the next three months. Karie
