Hi there Lyric, Thanks for you kind words. I am trying to maintain. You are 5ft11? You must look fabulous
. Yes I have the same syndrome as you.
" New Clothes Syndrome" I still see the fat girl in the mirror. I am tall and thin wearing a size 6 or 8. I am 5ft6. Life is grand. I am in the same situation as you needing PS. The LBL is covered under insurance.I will consider that next year not now. I hope to win lotto money to do the rest. There is alot of work. My skin is loose, considering I am a nurse and my arms are tight. I have loose skn on my thighs,my butt is hanging and I will learn to deal with it now.
I have not seen or heard from Tracy. If you look on the Message Board you will see a post from her.
Take care...... Lorraine

Topic: Update
Hi guys.
Well I am 20 days out from my tt surgery and doing good. I have lost another 13 pounds since surgery. Its amazing to think I now weigh 113lbs! Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think it would be possible that is about 151 pounds lost. I still am tried after a days work and the scar tissue has a funny hard feeling being down the center of my tummy.
Well, thanks for reading folks. You are all great supporters! Oh, for you ladies I know you can appreciate this....I now feel like I can wear those cute little bra and string patties sets without feeling like I still have that fat belly hanging over the string!!!!

Topic: Hello Everyone
I haven't posted in a very, very long time. I stay quite busy with work and now that I have a LIFE! But anyway, I don't know all of you, remember some of your names, but just wanted to stop in and say hello and to let you know that I've lost to date 225lbs! Its just been incredible! I started at 387lbs on my surgery date of 12/2/03 and as of May 2005 I've maintained my weight at 162 lbs! I haven't experienced any problems except with the "I can't seem to stop wanting to buy new clothes" syndrome. I have some lose skin, not much considering how much I loss and my surgeon says it varies from people to people. I do want to have PS, but if it happens it won't be until next year, or if I win the $111 million lottery...yeah right! (I will fix up everything from the rooter to the tooter)!
Anyway, Lorraine you still look great, I haven't read much but is Tracy the Swan still around?
HOpe all is well with the Decemberites of 2003.

Sorry so late a response. I was away for a little bit. YES! The raccoon is cute, but doesn't hold a candle to you. Anyway, I have to say that I think that being thin is attractive. Sometimes people that don't eat or are bulemic get too thin, but it looks different... not healthy. You look wonderful. Feeling good is so important and I am happy that you feel so much better. Please post more! It is so good to hear from you.

Hi Jesi. Why are you not so happy with the plastic surgery thing? Do you feel alright?
I just got back from the cruise. It was sooooo fun. I was thinking maybe Nona was right about being in starvation mode, because I ate so much more then I have eaten since surgery and I LOST 4 pounds! I have been so happy since I got home and weighed myself. I haven't lost ANY weight since January until this.
I think you will like school, once you are used to it again. The problem might come in when you are both tired. It will probably be hard not to snap at each other. I will pray for you and I can't wait to hear more about it. Tell us all about your days, we like it!

Jesi --
You go at it! I went back to school at 52 and have managed to continue taking classes part-time since. I'm really enjoying all the subjects.....well almost.....I was thrilled when I got through college algebra.
I'm still below what the surgeon considered goal (134) I've been stable at 120# for the last six months. I haven't had my gall bladder out yet but need to get it scheduled soon. Wish I was scheduling PS but can't afford $$$ right now.
Went on a wonderful 5 day cruise with my two daughters last week. I took the youngest back to college on Monday.
My classes were canceled today because of Hurricane Katrina. So far we've just had a lot of rain in Miami.
Always glad to hear how our class of December 2003 is doing.

Hi Jesi, You are not too old to go to school!! You're a young girl. I started my classes a few weeks ago, and I haven't been in school since the 60's!
So if I can attempt this, you can sure do it!!!''
Nona
PS. I go for my plastics on 9/7/5

Hi there Jesi,
I am here
I am busy working, now as of today I am on vacation. I will be leaving on the 31th for Florida to visit a friend. I continue to hold my weight between 130- 135 lbs. I am stable and happy. I am 5ft6 and I think that is good for me. If I would gain a few pounds I would not mind. But for now I must keep stable.
I am happy to hear your family is good. I am also happy to hear you are going back to school. You are never too old. My girlfriend at 55 is going back for her RN. Good Luck to you and your hubby
and good luck.I know it is hard with young children. Been there done that. My baby is going to be 29.
I am here always and trying to post even though life is busy.I have met someone new and feel great. Life is grand.

Where is everyone?? It is awfully slow around here! I'm doing okay....not so happy with the whole plastic surgery thing.....been three weeks and I'm a little depressed over the whole thing. School is starting Monday for all my kids, hubby, and myself
My hubby is going back for his masters.....well there is no way I am letting him get another degree before I finish mine!!! I was in school when we met......We were engaged and his first big engineering job out of college was three hours away.....so we moved there....and I quit......Then the twins came and we comprimised that I would stay home until all our kids were in school fulltime.......he would rather me stay at home forever (no thanks)....well our youngest is in her last year of preschool before Kindegarten....so I am starting classes now.....
I feel so old going back to school! So it might be a little stressful around here for the next couple weeks as we all get used to a new routine. I am going to school fulltime during the day and hubby is taking a few night classes. Wish us luck.....we might just need it!! Weightloss is the same.....non-existant......other than that not much new!!! How is everyone else?? Take Care and have a great one
