I jad my surgery there on Moday and was released late Thursday afternoon. The nurses and CNAs were just the best!! I felt so very well cared for and just wanted to sing their praises. All of the staff I dealt with from nurses to pulminary specialists, food delivery person, and even custodian...were all wonderful, So cheerful and helpful. if you have your surgery there feel confident that these people will take very good care of you!

And Dr. Podkameni...wonderful! He chedk in on my frequently, which I really appreciated.

I am home now, tired and sore but doing well.

OK ..good news ..bad news...Just about everybody is denied..for lap or even RNY...THats is the truth. ...Sadly.
I had every  health conditions  possible..including a deadly disease of Stage 4 liver disease..the worst you can have...they still denied me.

When they denied me..which they do this over  95% cases ...They hope you wont appeal..as in most folks dont..they give up...I am TELLING DONT GIVE UP. My passionate Dr. at the time called my hubby and asked if I appealed..no..I was angry. HE said he ( the Dr. ) he couldnt appeal without a letter from me...on the last day to submit Dr. notes again..and a letter from me..he called hubby and Made me write a letter...I did angryily..in my living room...wrote a letter with ripped edges..children note pad...scribbled letters..scatches ..misspelled words. Threw it at Hubby( now I laugh.LOL) and he brought it to the Dr's office that day..and they faxed the same notes from the dr and my new note.

NOW imagine...that WE did nothing different..just resubmitted the Dr. notes and my scratch letter ..one week later..with nothing new done..I WAS APPROVED>..so as I tell you that they will probably deny you..appeal...and it may work...

One of our part time tellers has decided to be a stay at home mom again because her daughter had brain surgery (I really can't blame her).  We have an opening for a 30 hour teller.  You need to have availability from 7 - 7 Monday through Friday, 9 - 2 Saturday and 10 - 2 on Sunday.  You'd work probably 1 weekend a month which isn't bad.
