Thanks for the info. Google Maps are soooo cool. You can drop down to ground level and see the area real quickly. Want to ask another question, but I hope it doesn't come out the wrong way...Is Arizona State a pretty campus?? Just driving by over the years...it just didn't look that exciting on the beauty side. Just wondering if Tempe Town Lake and Papago Park is where the college students would ride to get away from the hussle and bussle of city life... Thanks again...Brian

Protein Donut Holes
1 large egg
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons Splenda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
Splenda
cinnamon -- for topping
Start heating about 1inch of oil in pan. While it's heating, beat the
egg and butter lightly. Add the splenda, vanilla and protein powder,
beat well, then let it sit for 1 min, then beat again til lumps are
gone. Using a tablespoon, drop (don't drizzle or it might burn)
batter into oil in small batches. BE CAREFUL! You need to flip them
when they start to brown, and they start to brown after about 5
seconds! Flip to other side til brown, then remove, drain, and
sprinkle with splenda and cinnamon.
I ended up with about 15 small doughnut holes - I could only eat 5, so
keep this in mind! For the whole recipe, using Optimum Nutritions'
French vanilla, which has 4g carbs per rounded scoop, my carb count
was 6.5 (.5 for the egg, .5 for the vanilla, 1 for the splenda for
dusting and .5 for the cinnamon).
Oh my peeps...I am nearly in tears this is so good. And I can't
BELIEVE how filling! Yes this is VERY high in fat and calories, so if
you are counting those, beware. But for 1/3 of a recipe, for 2
carbs...I'm in doughnut heaven!

If it works out I'd love to come. Usually I'm just there for 4 days and 3 nights. I'll look at the weather maps...If it's raining and cold in Northern California and sunny and warm in AZ...That's when I'll come. Never quite know when in the month that will be. If it's raining and cold in AZ...why go?? Brian
I would like to invite you to our Sun City WLS support groups. I have one on the 4th Wednesday and Ann Miller has one the 2nd Saturday of each month. If interested I can give you the info. Hope to see you.

I live in Tucson, but if you had a lot, I'm sure I could make arrangements to get them from you.
My problem is that I'm tall (5'10), so a lot of things aren't long enough if they come from petite folks.
But if you have some that would be worth a drive, I could probably pick them up from you. I'm headed to the Phoenix science center for my son's fieldtrip in a couple of weeks, and maybe I can break away long enough to pick up the clothes if you're not on the opposite of the world from there....
