Yay Jeannie!  Dr. Podkamini is da man!!!  ....  Guzzle some protein drinks with that mix so you keep your energy and health at optimum levels!  So glad you are painfree and on your way!

Tell Talin that I said hello and give Dr. K a big hug from me and be sure you grab a bite at the lil Chinese across from the hospital and tell Micky M hello and be sure you sit by the ocean for at least an hour and meditate and be sure you fill up with gas at the Costco on the East side of L.A. just before hitting the desert and and and.....ENJOY the trip!  I'm jealous!  Maybe we can unite for a road trip for a post-op check in the future!

Do you know how awesome that DS is going to rock your world??!!!!

and I feel so much better!!  I drank milk and ate cream of mushroom soup and kept both down and had no pain while eating/drinking them!!  Dr. Pod says 2 more dialations and I should be good!

OK, I am back on track and focused, pity party is OVER!!!

I called and made an appointment with Dr. Keshishian in California next Friday. I get an hour and a half to discuss everything about the DS surgery and I am so excited. It was a struggle to fenagle (sp?) the kids' schedules, but my husband has been quite helpful and supportive and he figured it all out so I can focus on me.

I've got family in town this week and we're wanting to have some great seafood for one of our outings.

Which is your favorite seafood restaurant?  What have you ordered there that you've liked?

I LOVE seafood enchiladas and fish tacos at the Gecko Grill in Gilbert but my family doesn't like mixing Mexican flavors with their seafood

(price info is welcome as well)

Oh, and has anyone done the "all you can eat crab/seafood" at any of the Casino's?  My hubby and I couldn't get our moneys worth there with our tiny bites but the others would love a good pigging out!  What did you think?
