No worries.

Enbrel is awesome for me.  Just have to find what works for each of us.

Congrats on your loss as well, and good luck to you.

Thanks Ruggie, I appreciate your reply.  I did enbrel for 6 months and didn't work. I hope it works for you.  I am on Simponi.  It seems like my psoriasis is kind of clearing up.  Also, thanks for the tip to post in the rny forum. Congrats on your weight loss!

1) You might just be having a traditional "3 week" stall a week late or so.  Stay on your plan and have faith.  Just keep craming in protein and water.

2) I also have psoriatic arthritis and also take a biologic for it (Enbrel).  It's extremely unlikely the medication has anything to do with your weight.

3)  To get more exposure for your question, you might be better off to post it in the RNY forum or the Arthritis forum.

Good luck.

Yes, it's a drag. When you get to feeling as if you MUST
put food into your mouth, do a protein shake or a protein
bar. Totally eliminate white refined carbs: no sugar, pasta,
rice, or potatoes in your house. It makes it soooo much simpler
to resist temptation if the "Refined Carbs Poison" isn't in
your cupboard. Believe me, I know this for a fact.

Hang in there, Kid, you can do it.

Inside a year you'll be posting all your "Wow" moments, and
some "Whoopee!!" ones, too.

Best wishes,

Have you thought about counseling? Life happens to all of us and we need to have different coping strategies than using food (also talking to myself). You need to have new coping strategies, whether or not, you have surgery. If you have surgery and haven't learned new ways to cope with stress, then the weight will come back on.
