First ever DS in Dallas, TX coming soon. . .
Dr. Stewart has been doing DS in Denton, TX for some time. He now has privileges at Forest Park Medical Center in Dallas, TX http://www.forestparkmc.com/. He will be performing the first ever DS in Dallas within the next 2-3 weeks. He is shooting for September 29th. The patient? My wife! (Much cuter than her avatar by the way)

Rags has supported me in my decision to undergo DS since the very beginning. She has never once been a naysayer, but a pillar of strength thru every step of the decision-making process, the hospitalization, and post-op life. She is, in many respects, a model DSer in every sense except one -- actually having had the surgery herself. She knows the diet and supplements inside and out. She has a family history of diabetes and is high-risk for developing it herself. I don't want her to suffer from diabetes the way I did prior to DS. Her preop workup is complete. We are now just counting down the days until her surgery. That will put us a little over 9 months apart between our surgeries (had to build up the cash reserves since we are both self-pays -- worth every penny!).
Her angel? Darlene (stormy918). We are so blessed to have her in our lives! We'll keep you posted on any developments. We had planned on November and it seems now everything has shifted into warp drive! Rags is understandably excited and nervous simultaneously. We look forward to being able to bring DS into the spotlight in such a positive way. She will make a great DS ambassador! Any support/encouragement you could show her would be greatly appreciated!

That would be so great if you could make it, Darlene (aka angel, ambassador, roving reporter. . .)! With a few before-and-after success stories to chronicle the big question in Dallas could "switch" from "Who shot JR?" to "Who got DS?"
