HEY! I am hoping that the call from Emory Friday that I missed was the call I have been waiting for saying that I am approved! This has been 2 years in the making and I am so eager to have this surgery and start to change my life. Prayers needed. At this point it is getting depressing taking so long!

Cindy I find it strange that I had the same problems as you but had to be stretched 5 time before it stayed open.  I wonder if the week we had surgery was just a bad week.

Rachel is by far one of the tops in this area.  She is very familiar of post baratric needs and how to tailor those needs based on ones lifestyle.  Pre-op I saw the northside nutritionists in my area and it was a huge wate of my time.  After a number of post surgical complicatons and months on pureed and liquid diets Rachel was able to help get me mack to eating normal foods.

I found the NonFat Dry Milk in the section with Hot Cholcolate mixes and coffee at Publix. It comes in a box with several multiple serving envelops. I also use the No Sugar Added NESQUIK mix. Warm liquids seem to go down much better than cold stuff.

I used to stay away from Coffe with Caffeine but recently it doesn't seem to cause any problems for me. I'll take my Kicks where I can find them these days!
