Hello all!
I am from Arizona.. about to be making the long move to Savannah GA.. I am almost a year post RNY and just want to find a really good surgeon in Savannah, just in case.. Anyone know of a good surgeon?

Thanks everyone I finally got a call back from Dr. Scott office in Rome Georgia and they gave me Dr. Elkins number I called them and they was very friendly and told me that they do about 3 or 4 PSY evaluations a week for weight loss surgery patients and scheduled me for Feb 2, 11:30 a.m.

I also used Gary Santavicca. I thought he was great and very supportive and encouraging. I have emailed him since I had surgery letting him know of m progress and got some great comments from him.
The other good thing is that he has offices all around town....convenient for most.
Dr. Stephen Rich is another dr. who works alot with bariatric patients. His office is in downtown Decatur.

I also used Dr. Gary he was pretty good at listening and explaining the process to you.Try him he's very good.

Topic: Update - for those thinking of the RNY
I had a RNY on Sept 1st of last year - I am down 86.2 pounds, and I think I have about 35 to go.
I am so thankful I was able to do this surgery! I love my new eating habits, and am loving working out everyday now that I can do more!
