I used the same doc as Lia above---Dr. Gary Santavicca. I was referred to him by Emory's Bariatric program. He is very thorough.

I used Dr. Scott for surgery, but I did all my pre surgery requirements in South Georgia. I'm not sure who they use from his office in Rome.

I have a question? I have just about got all my requirements that I need for my insurance company in order to get approved for weight loss surgery. I need to know who did the people in Georgia near Dr. Dennis Smith and Dr. Scott use for Psy evaluation. Please let me know so that I can call and make appointment. I have appointment with one doctor who says she have done it before however I had bad experience with one person and would like to use someone who some of the other WLS people have used. I cannot get answer on phone with surgeon’s office right now. Reason I am not asking my surgeon is because I am having surgery out of state. Thanks in advance.
