Very depressed today

I guess im having a pitty party for myself today. I have hardly any summer clothes and I dont want to buy to many because hopefully in a few weeks I will have my surgery date. But I still need some so I went to Target and picked out the biggest size they had a 26 got home to try them on which I HATE doing. No way could I wear them not even close. How depressing alls I want to do is cry today. Im trying to be positive hopeing my aproval wont take long after its submitted but its not helping too much. I dont know what I will do if im not aproved. I wish the doctor wasnt so positive about my aproval now my hopes are set and im terrified about being let down.

I know how you feel.  I have about 3 bags of summer clothes that I tried on, and they are all too small.  I am going through a 6 month weight loss program with my weight loss doctor, because BC/BS denied my lap band surgery the 1st time.  I go to my 3rd weigh in on Thursday and I don't think that I have lost anything.  To top it all off, my husband is going to be off of work for awhile because he has carpal tunnel syndrome is both of his arms.  I don't know if his job will pay for his insurance while he is off.  We have applied for public aid, hopefully we will get that and they will approe it right away.  Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks I know im not alone in this but it sure feels like I am. My poor husband just doesnt understand it since hes never had to battle his weight. I hope you can get your aid fast also. I had carpal tunnel form work once also with surgery. Its no fun but I sure felt better after my surgery for it. Good luck.

ahhh the wonderful BCBS 6 month supervised diet .. i'm working on it now .. i know how you guys feel about clothes : ( .

Do you know what size top / pants you are actually wearing?  I may have a few things.  Probably not much but maybe I can help a little.   I know I have some 5x tops but they may be too big for you.  I don't know what your weight is.  Let me know if I can help.  I'll be glad to dig around and see what I can find for you. im 307 right now shirts I wear 3x and pants 26 or 28 depending on the brands ext. I hate to try on clothes how depressing.

I have had too put my Lapband on hold for a bit because of other health issues, so I really don't want to buy anything this year. , but I found that I can usually find stuff at Walmart , Fashion Bug, and Catos.At least get a couple of pairs of shorts, I know it is hotter in southern Illinois then we are up north of you.

ah sweetie I am so sorry you are having a bad day! I know how you feel! I stopped even looking for clothes at the store. I wish I was losing faster so I could send you my clothes but they are still fitting. You will do fine public aid will approve you. I have been on here for over 4 years and I have yet to see public aid turn down someone. keep us posted and keep your head up!!!! dee

I know that feeling to well in fact. I hate to go shopping, because nothing ever seems to fit right. It doesn't help that I live with all small women, and it seems everything they put on is a size 3. Well maybe not a three but you get what I mean. Shopping is so Intimidating

 

at times. Hopefully though you will be getting your new start, and those clothes will be fitting like never before. Just hang in there.

just think about that when you do get down to a 26, you won't have to buy them! jeannine
