Tuesday Roll Call

We are in for a great day today, Tuesday. High of 84 and sunny here in Chicagoland.  What ya got cookin' today? I am not sure when my guest will arrive at my house as she is coming from Battle Creek, MI via Amtrak then she takes the subway to Midway and picks up a rental car to come to our house. Amtrak is notoriously late so it is a crap shoot on the time. Too bad she is going to Midway with O'Hare just 10 miles from my house but she is flying to CO on Saturday afternoon. I am going to guess via Southwest Air, they are the cheapest.  Well, still need to do a few things. and get ready for work.  Christine  &

Good morning Christine! All is well. Today will be a quiet day for me. Work all day and then to the pool! I was tempted yesterday and bought another bikini in white with red polka dots that has a ruffle on the pants! The triangle top has a red print overshadowing a white background. Cute and sexy . I got it at Walmart yesterday; each piece was 9.88. I couldn't resist. I wore it already yesterday afternoon. Nothing exciting happening in my personal life though. Meeting a lot of frogs! I have one new man I will be meeting soon. I know there has to be someone out there for me!  I keep on getting told I am pretty and bright but not good enough for a relationship. Maybe I should have become a nun . Boy that convent would have been swinging! Hope your guest makes it to your house safe and sound. At least the weather will be picture perfect! hey Lucy ... you?  a nun?   ummmm ... nope, don't see it!  You crack me up with your bikinis and new clothes ... you are like a kid in a candy store!!  Good for you.  I'm glad you're having fun, and don't worry about the frogs ... your prince will show up (in the meantime have fun with the amphibians!) ... you're a very sweet person, and maybe this is still your time for YOURSELF (and buying the bikinis) ...  You're pure class, and some of these guys just don't deserve you ... so hang in there!! Good morning Karyn! Aw, you're so kind and sweet. Your message sure lifted up my spirits. Thanks.. I'm so bad, buying these bikinis. Yeah, I can't see me as a nun either. It sure would be a different convent. WLS sure didn't give me all what I wanted the most, a new job and a relationship. I'm working hard on both of them though. I'm becoming or am a little spitfire in my ripe old age! Next Wednesday, I'm off to Las Vegas for a 4 day trip. Staying at the Rio. I'm checking into taking pole dancing classes; they call it stripper 101.  It's good exercise though!

Your a woman after my heart, I can not wait until I can shop and get the things that don't come with a W after the size.Almost there!!!! A bikini maybe never for me because I had 3 c-sections but cute shorts and dresses that don't look like tents. So I admire you, buy all you can and strut your stuff!!!!!!! Karen 

Hi Karen.  Wow, this post is going wonders for my ego!  Some people may not think to wear a bikini at my age and after having plastic surgery, but not me! I want to and am enjoying myself for the first time in my life. I've missed out on so much, a husband and children. I'm definitely struting my stuff to everyone. I do wear short skirts on occasion. Shame on me, I have one on today at work! Thanks for your message! You, too can strut your stuff.

I have a list that I want to do, then go for lunch with a friend, to celebrate getting released by the heart surgeon yesterday. After that, want to get out in the sun and bake. I am so pale!!Cheers to a perfect June day, may we have many more this summer.

Good morning Christine.  I think a day of me in the pool will be in order today.  It is suppose to be warm and sunny all week.  I do need to go to the grocery store, but that may have to wait till evening after the sun goes down..lol I also have to put a call into my PS.  I have a small pus pocket on my incision line from the mons reduction.  It is where the fat of the tummy hangs over, so I need to call him so I can get it documented.  I was so hoping I wouldn't need a TT, I am afraid of having another surgery, but if this keeps up, I will probably be better off.
