Support Groups

Hi All, I am looking for local support group meetings. I know that their is one that meets this friday at Alexian Brothers, but are their others. I would like to start to find a few. Any in the area? Thanks Mike

Mike, I am like you, I need to find a support group also. The Alexian one would be good, that is where my Dr is, but its 100 miles from me.

The one at Alexian only meets once a month on Friday evenings and is for folks 3 months or more post-op.  Have never made it to one so don't know if they are any good.

Hi all, I am scheduled for surgery on August 8th, and I would like to find a support group to help. I live in the Edwardsville, IL area. (Im actually a senior at SIUE, and looking forward to leaving college healthier than ever in my life). I looked under the support group page, but there's like ten people listed. I was wondering if anyone here goes to a group in the area.
