Monday Roll Call

Just checking in with you all. We made it safe and sound to WI. Got a lot of walking in yesterday. I have a Garmin GPS exercise monitor that records your activity, maps your location the whole nine yards. I actually have two. My second one has a heart rate monitor that I use when running.  Well, today since there is a strong chance of rain so we will make it a driving day. We want to go to a local cheese factory (go figure in WI of all places), Kohls, Wally World and then if it is condusive for us to do any walking we will try to walk later on and window shop all the junk touristy shops in the Dells. I always like to pick up a tee shirt that has a silly saying on it. I got one yesterday at one of our fav pubs that has a road kill menu on it.   You have to be up for that kind of humor and that is just something that I am. Am still up for more shirts. Going to get rolling here because Dave has two conference calls that we need to get in between the driving around. Hugs to ya all, Christine

Good morning Christine! Wow, you are some busy mama! I hope you are enjoying your vacation. Give Dave my best. On Wednesday, I'm off to Las Vegas for 4 days. I got a lot of plans and things to do there. I can't wait to go. I started packing already since I am working until Wednesday and my flight is an early one. I'm still waiting to hear from Advocate about the job I interviewed for.

I had a great weekend. Yesterday spent most of the day at the pool using my air mattress and floating around the pool.  Saturday spent the day at my sister's house celebrating Fathers Day with my stepdad. Thursday's date went well. I think I will be seeing him again. Well, have a great day in Wisconsin. Hugs, Lucy

Lucy, I am glad that things worked out with your latest date. Here's wishing that there will be more dates with him. Are you going with anyone special to Vegas? That town is a sun lover's dream come true. Jus****ch yourself with those damaging rays. Hope you hear soon on the job..

Chris, I am going to take a class in pole dancing!  Yes, I am. I will have a picture taken to prove it. The class is at Planet Hollywood (formerly the Aladdin). I bought the ticket already - included one drink, one teeshirt and one picture! I'm doing it on Wednesday night. I'll be able to show Dr. Madry that I did this. He cleared me for it about 2 months ago.  I plan on going to the pool in the morning hours before it gets too hot and too sunny. Part of the day in the casino and oh yes, shopping. I have to play in two slot tournaments - on Thursday and Friday. I plan on participating in the Masquerade show at the Rio - there's a nominal fee for that! Hoping to see Tina and Tony's Wedding at the Rio. The time will go so fast and then I'll be home on Saturday afternoon. Thanks for your message! Lucy

Good Morning Chris / Lucy and the rest of IL - Happy Monday to you.  Just trying to rise and shine and get this show on the road.  It's going to be another full day at work.  I do need to run to Walmart either on my lunch hour or after work and pick-up a belt.  Central Dupage Hospital has a support group meeting tonight at 6:30 if anyone is interested.  I'm going to try to make if but I just dont' know if I'll be out of work in time.  We shall see how the day progresses. GM young lady, got sunshine so far but the weather is supposed to go to the netherlands after about 1 today. So, I will get getting the ole boy up soon to get moving. Hope you get out of work on time and can go to CDH for the group. CB

Good Morning everyone. It seems everyone is a busy beaver this morning, andeveryone, including me has to go to Wally World. I really wanted to go yesterday, but by the time we got finished with dinner at a local pub, it was getting to late to go.  This morning I have already put color on my hair, and worked on a rag rug. I really do have a lot of things I need to have finished today, plus I bough some red snapper the other day,  and I want to coat it with pecans for supper tonight. Lucy, I am glad you had a good date and have fun on your vacation.  Christina, hope your work slows a bit, so you don't have to work over this evening.  Christine,  you have a ball at the Dells. Good morning all-Glad to see everyone so chipper.  Chris B. , I envy you in the Dells.  It is one of our favorite spots.  Have a blast!  Lucy, you be careful in that desert sun.  My sister-in-law lives ther and I can attest to it's severity.  Show off those bikinis and win big!  Christina-I can't make the CDH meeting tonight but if you're interested for the next one I'd love to go if you could schlepp me along.  (Hubby works nights so no wheels!  But I have full control of the remote!)  I'm just in Carol Stream.  I am off to pick oxygen orders for MY trip to Boston the 28th for a family wedding.  I can't wait. Yeap, we are enjoying ourselves. Just got back in the room in time before the rain hit. Looks like it will blow over real kick we enough time to walk down to a Japanese place we like to get Sushi at. Good protein, but you have to like it. Took me a little while to like it, like 5 minutes and I absolutely fell in love with it about 10 years ago.  Take care we are off for a bite. Chris
