need to vent
Well I live in a small town and we only have one grocery store (stinks, we are getting a superenter but not yet) so went out to the store to get stuff for dinner for the family. Well I was thinking chicken they had some but looked gross. So asked the person in the meat dept and he said no more chicken till tomorrow. I was like what you only get meat in once a week!!!! That is gross. Also I have a large family to feed (8 people) and they don't have enough food that I can make something that I can eat. I am not at the point yet that can have red meat I can have turkey and chicken. So walked up and down the isles and was trying really hard to find something that would work so that I just had to make one specific meal so DH did not have to stop and get me something else or make me something else. Well ended up getting red meat and now hubby has to stop. I am so frustrated I told him that I was just not going to eat anything because getting so frustrated with the little I get to eat that when I want something I would think that a grocery store would have it. I am just so angry because was so looking forward to having chicken and now not going to. That since so limited on the food that I get to eat and getting tired of the same thing!!!! Please tell me this is normal. I have also found myself in a "holding pattern," I am glad when it looked like I lost a pound or two and then check again later and looks like gained back. Just everything is getting to me because I am doing what I am told and then this happens AUGHHHHHHHH I am going to go take a sleeping medicine and go to bed have to work tonight. How about tuna or salmon in the packets? Then you would always have something in the closet. I also eat cottage cheese or yogurt for dinner, eggs too, as well as black beans with cheese. I need things that can come from the pantry if there is no other choice. Connie
