GOOD MORNING ALL OF ILLINOIS..IT'S 2:42 AM AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP..SO I THOUGHT I WOULD DO THE ROLL CALL. HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT WEEKEND. I WENT OUT AN WALKED FOR AND HOUR. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL THIS MORNING. TODAY I HAVE MY DAY SORTED OUT..LOTS OF LAUNDRY AND CLEANING TO DO. MY DH JOHN HASN'T BEEN FEELING WELL, ALOT OF WEAKNESS & PAIN FROM HIS DISEASE (SBMA) SPINAL BULBAR MUSCULAR ATROPHY. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIM. HE WAS A CHICAGO POLICE OFFICER FOR 27 YEARS. HE LOVED HIS JOB AND HAD TO RETIRE EARLY. TODAY I WILL GIVE HIM LEG AND BACK MASSAGE TO TAKE SOME PAIN AWAY. I HAVE BEEN FEELING DOWN. I KNOW I NEED TO DO SOMETHING FOR MYSELF TODAY. I KNOW I NEED TO GET IN TO SEE DR. RANTIS FOR A FILL..MAYBE THATS THE REASON, I AM DOWN. HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM THERE SECRET PAL? I SEE DEE HAS A POST FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE OVER. PLEASE REPLY TO HER POST IF YOU CAN HELP.. SHE IS NOT DOING WELL. PRAYERS FOR YOU (((DEE))). JENN I HOPE SERENITY IS DOING BETTER..(((SERENITY))).. PAUL THIS IS YOUR BIG DAY COMING UP.. Good morning Marilyn, I am up but not by choice, my puppy gets me up at 6 am but this morning is was early 5:45 ,she has had her breakfast and now sleeping again, that is just not fair, For me today taking my car over to Patrick Glass for a chip repair in my car window, and doing laundry and cleanning house too, We were very busy this weekend cleaning up my mother-in-laws house, she passed away in 06, and her daughter lived their and because the house went into probate she had to moved out and she was mad about that so she left the house a total mess, it took us two days to clean it up next weekend it is to the basement, and I am not looking forward to that, Oh well she will have to live with how she disrespeced her mothers home, No Marilyn I have not heard anything from my secret Pal, I know that I have sent out my gift and cards, but I have not recived anything yet, Sorry to hear about your HD, I don't know anything about SBMA but sounds painful, , I hear that it is going to freeze here tonight, so I have to cover my plants tonight that are coming up, Hope everyone has a great day,

My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning Marilyn and Janet H. Marilyn, WOW what a post!!! I wouldn't be able to remember everyone's name much less post it here. Sorry about your DH illness. Sometimes I wonder if there is ever a time where something isn't going on in our lives. I agree that there are a number of people here who inspire others. I think the Illinois Board is wonderful and I am happy to see how active it is!! For my fellow naughty

friends, I can't wait until I slim down again.. I have such nice clothes and sexy

underwear...I can't help myself. All the years of hiding in a ton of fat, I've emerged into a whole new being. I never got to enjoy my teen years or young adult life, as I was a fat kid and became a SMO as an adult. So I am trying to make up for lost time!! I may be in my 50's but feel like I'm in my 20's!! YAY!!!!

I'm having a very busy week, trying to get my house in order for painting and get the carpet cleaned, get packed for my trip to Arizona, get my pre-op testing done, see the nutritionist, get my hair done, waxing of eyebrows and upper lip, spray tan, buy the paint and wallpaper, and get my desk at work cleaned up. What a week it is!!

Today at work we have our annual staff meeting. I wonder how many doctors will show up??? Hugs, Lucy

Lucy you will get back into those sexy unddies and bikini's.....If anyone can you will! I feel like I am younger too but not sure 20's. Maybe if (when ) I get to goal I will. I am going to go get a sexy nighty when I lose 25 more pounds then rent a room and show my husband a different woman! I am feeling the naughty side wanting to come out. I told the ladies I have coffee with this morning I was setting out a change jar to collect in to help pay for my arms to get the wave taken out!!!!:( I have a major swinging thing going on to the point I refuse to wear a short sleeve shirt. The legs I can deal with because I can wear bramuda shorts or a wrap around my swim suit but the arms short of wrapping with ace bandage like an arm girddle can not be hid. :( As most pple here know BC/BS will not pay for plastic. As a school bus driver I don't make enough to cover it so I am stuck with the arms:( But on a great note I have dropped anothe size in my jeans,, I can now fit into a size 12. I also went and bought some cute new tops size LARGE ....I am closet cleaning today and get rid of everything xxl to 4xl and all my pants froom size 16 to 24. I am going to take to the womens shelter here in Peoria. Have a great time on you're trip!!! Karen

Hi Karen. Thanks for the encouraging words. I had huge swinging arms and paid for the brachioplasty out of my pocket. It was worth every penny! Even when I had the arms swinging, looking like bat arms, I would wear sleeveless and bathing suits. I didn't care because I was confident and felt good about myself. Lucy

Good Morning to my wonderful OH family. I am up and getting ready to make myself a blueberry protien shake for breakfast, then I will take a shower (which I still need help with!) and rest for a bit, then if it's not raining it's outside with Mike for a walk. I have got to get my leg muscles strengthened again.

Marilyn, I am sorry to hear about your dh's disease, I have never heard of it before but it doesn't sound nice. You and he are both in my prayers.

Well things are not exciting around here at all lately. Just me trying to recover and the hubby *****ing about having to do everything around the house...I keep telling him, "welcome to my world" but he just gets mad. oh well. I think this is a huge reality check for us. we shall see.

Good morning Marilyn and Illinois! It is already raining here and I missed going for a morning walk. Oh well, I will be busy doing laundry and straightening up today. Any movement is good! Marilyn, I too have never heard of SBMA, but if your messaging helps the pain it must be very painful. I'll keep the two of you in my prayers. I can't believe that you named so many people...I could never have done it. Hi Janet, Lucy and Monica! Now Lucy....you naughty girl, I hope you have a GREAT time in Arizona.......Monica.....I'm glad your starting to feel better. I hope you all have a wonderful day today!

Good Morning Marilyn, Janet, Christina, Carl and the rest of the Board. I am having a problem with my back this morning, I think it is from sitting so long on the trip. So, I will baby it until I get home, then, I will put heat on it and baby it so more, tonight. I didn't realize it was raining and gloomy out this morning until I left for work. I do hope it clears up. Its another work week, hopfully this weekend I can get out and plant some flowers and dh's tomatoes and peppers. Marilyn, I hope you got some sleep last night. And I hope everything goes well with Johnny. Janet, I know its annoying to have to take the car in for any repairs. We had the A/C fixed on my van last Thursday, i almost died when Hubert told me it was 1100.00! This on top of 500 in repairs to his car a week ago. Whatever made us think we would survive without using the credit card. Hopefully, we can pay off a good portion of it with the next billing. Of course, that is why you are suppose to carry one, for ER's. Guess I need to get to work. Hugs to all

$1,600 is a lot cheaper in repairs than having car payments for 3+ years. That is the way we always look at it. Watch that you are not too early on those plants. The nurseries around here are saying that the last chance of frost is May 15th. But I know the feeling I am itching to get mine in the planters also. Everything looks so pretty when that is done. CB
