SATURDAY ROLL CALL

Good morning everyone.  I am sitting up here at my daughters house....We have been without electricity and we are now at my daughters house in West Chicago. We could not get the garage door open so I had to help lift my husband in hid wheel chair out the front door. I didn't reralize till we got here how sore I was in pain.  We should be returning home sometime tomorrow. What a mess everything has been. Unfortunatly I will not be able to go to the get to gether at Christina's.  I am so dissappointed I could  cry. Hope everyone has a good time, and a great weekend.

Marilyn I hope you get your electric back, and take it easy. I won'd be at Christina's either, I have so much to do before my surgery, I got the call from the hospital I have to be there at 6:00 a.m.  So I'm just trying to get my house in order, and I'm in school now, and I have to catch up for my assisgnments next week.  I spoke to my teachers and they are letting me turn things in late without penatly.  So that is nice. I was so excited  the CUBS won......some girl was giving me smack , because I was wearing my Cubs Jersey yesterday, about the Cubs losing in the 6th inning  I told her not to count the Cubs out because they are a team that comes back late in the game!!!!!! Have fun today, wish I could go, the next one for sure!  Say prayers for me to stay calm and for a safe surgery. Happy Saturday, Lynne

Lynne, I fully understand what you are going through right now and hope to meet you at the next gathering.  What classes are you taking?  I am finishing up a finance class, then on Tuesday I will start Marketing.   Even though I am neight a cubs or sox fan, I was happy to hear the northsiders won. Yes, the do have the knack to come back late in the game so never rule them out.

Wendi glad to see you feeling better. I'm trying to get an Associates in Financial Services....I currently work for a bank now.  I'm actually an event planner for conference and ****tail parties...but I love the banking business.  And they are paying for it...so I figured why not. I'm sorry that you won't make it today Marilyn, someday you will be able to come to a get together. 

Today I am getting ready to head out to the 2 support group meetings at ABMC, first one on Problematic eating (which I don't have yet, but might someday..who knows) and then the support group.  I will go to the post office afterwards and then head  home to do some homework before heading out to Christina's!!  yay, it's party day!  We got my sister in law to come and stay with the boys too, so I won't be worried then.  lol

Marilyn, good morning to you and everyone else in Lincoln Log Land. I to am bummed that you will not be able to make it. There will be another time. Been up for a while and am on my second load of wash and got some ironing done already also. I need to get myself ready to go for a hair cut and run a few errands.  Chris

Good Morning Marilyn and the rest of the OH family. I am so sorry that you won't be able to attend Christina's party today.You too Lynne. Hopfully you both will be able to make the next one. The sun is out and hopefully it will stay. We need to the rain bug.  Before I head to Christina's this afternoon, my daughter Annette and I are going to go shopping, not sure where yet. Yesterday, I finally gave in and got in the pool. Its the first time in 2 years and it felt good. Not only was I able to get in with no problems, but pulling myself up the ladder wasn't either.  See everyone later today. Hugs

Good Morning Marilyn and IL.   Marilyn, I am sorry you will not be there....I was so looking forward to meeting you, but there is always next time. Well, for me it is still working on my finals, which are due on Monday.  I have told my hubby that we need to start saving for the big party when I get my degrees in 2010.  The pain and agony will have been worth it. My scale has not changed from 180 lbs since coming home....which is cool and exciting.  But, I am finding out that the joints in my hips and legs ache.  I am not sure if this is just the change in the bearing of weight, or the loss of fat in and around the joint itself.  I also have a case of the disappearing boobs....when I lay down, they slide off to the sides and leave me pretty flat.  So, I have informed my hubby that a boob job will make the perfect grad gift. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some of our newer board members.  Now, I just have to figure out something to bring.  I was thinking maybe some fresh fruit such as watermelon.

Good morning all.  Due to gas and flooding, we won't be able to make it to Christina's either, but you all have fun for me.  Vacation Bible School was interesting this week, and will write more later, but now we are off to sandbag. Dee
