Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well if I wasn't sure before...I'm sure now...I have full blown pink eye again. I don't know how I reinfected myself again, but I did.
Yesterday, right after work I got a migraine. I tried my new migraine medicine and it wasn't working at first. Then I tried another dose and it went away. So I know for next time to double up. So lets recap on my night I got a migraine and my pink eye is back with a vengence!!!! Not a good night!!!
Oh well I guess everday can't be rainbows and gumibears....hahahaha!!!!
Well I better get going. I hope everyone has a good day. See ya later.

It is back to work for me today. We will see how long I talk before my voice gives out. I am guessing a couple of hours as it is still bad. Oh well. Yesterday I played sleepy head. I got up about 8am, showered, and sat back down on the bed to snuggle one of the cats... next thing I know I am waking up at 2:30 pm
That sure shot the day. I then went grocery shopping and errand running and the day was shot. I did not sleep well last night because I had had too much sleep. Ugh!
Crystal, I have found with the type of meds you take for migraines that you take the first dose and if the migraine is not going away, take the second pill about a half hour later. I usually do not need the second pill but occasionally I do. I am SO sorry that you have pink eye again! That sucks big time! Maybe the germs stayed on Jasper?
That is the only thing I can think of.
Lisa, hope your first day is free of problems. Sorry you overslept, that always puts the day on a bad start.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
Sounds like everyone had a fun, safe and quiet New Year's. We celebrated mostly at the neighbor's. I had three accidents all within about 15 minutes while I was trying to get ready. I was cooking, washing dishes and starting to make some soup for Todd. I cut my finger badly on the soup can, then dropped and broke the clean cofeepot then sliced of a tiny tip of my left thumb......NOT a great way to end the year.
The good news is that I went back to the doc to find out what I was doing wrong with my contacts and can now get them in!
I got up bright and early on New Year's Day and traveled to O'Hare in that nasty weather. Liv's plane was actually a few minutes early and we were heading back home by 9:00 am. She was so cute and tired. She kept telling me the same things over and over. Once we got home, she slept until about 8:30 pm. She got up for a while then went back to sleep for the night. She had a wonderful time and I am glad we were able to send her.
Todd and I went to see "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo" yesterday. He is now intrigued. I have listened to all the books and was interested to see the movie. I REALLY want to see the original Swedish movie as I am pretty sure it will be better. The American one is ok, but I can tell it is very "Americanized".
I am back to work and guess who is sick the very first day?????? REALLY! That is OK since it is nice, quiet and professional without my sister-in-law here. I truly did not throw her in the fire. tee-hee-hee! Actually, we were unable to have one because of the wind.
I am resolving to get back to exercising also.

Good morning all,
Hope today is finding everyone doing well. Me, I stepped on the scale to fins I gained a pound!
I don't know if it muscle or diet or what! But it ticks me off! I am s trying to stay below the 200lb mark and UGH!!! I start running and working out again and what does my weight do?? It goes up! NOT FAIR!! Oh well, my common sense tells me it will come off as long as I stay true to the life style!
Crystal - sorry about your eyes and migraines. I can not imagine how frustrated you must be.
Lisa - hope your day at work goes well. I am back tomorrow, and I am sure I will need 10 alarms to go off to get me up! Getting to sleep before 12:30am will be a challenge.
Nancy - I hope you have a good day at work. Let's hope your voice holds out for you.
Dawn - sounds like you had an interesting New Year's eve prep! Glad your daughter had fun. I bet you two are having fun looking at all her pictures. In the 20+ yrs I lived in New York (Rome), I never went closer to the city than Albany!
Well, tonight I have a date with the treadmill. My friend and I are helping each other with this running goal. I just want to firm up and look/feel better.

Hello Everyone,
Well I'm 2 weeks after surgery and feeling pretty good.
I have 1 incision left (looks like a med. size dimple on the tummy) That is still bothering me. He says it is an inside stitch that should start to dissolve. But other then that I feel pretty good.
I've lost 7 pounds this week :) Doc said 2 more weeks of puree and to up my fluids to 64 oz a day (this is going to be a task within itself). And to stay on track with my 60grams of protein. Also to add in a little bit of exercise as tolerated (due to that darn stitch). I have been walking around alot more so I think I'm going to add some upper/lower strength exercises with some bands for now and see how it goes..
Don't know why I didn't do this surgery earlier in life to show my mom before she passed that I WAS capable of getting healthy and staying healthy.... I know she is looking down on me now and giving me all the help I need..
