Fridat Roll Call
Hello everyone
I was running late yesterday and litterally had to run out the door. I don't know what happened. I got up on time...I guess I just wasn't paying attention and I looked at the time and all of the sudden it was late. So I didn't get to post.
Last night I was up late trying to get my iphone reserved online, so I can pick up my phone at the store. They renew their stock online every night. I had it and I was soooo excited and then something happened!!! I don't know??? I hit the button to pay for the transaction and all of the sudden the phone I had resereved wasn't available anymore??? I was sooo mad...I couldn't sleep for awhile...hahaha!!! I will try again tonight.
Today I have some errands to run, work and working out. That's it for me.
Nancy- you were asking about Jasper. I don't think Jasper is liking it here. I think he misses the excitement of Brenda's house. I am on the fence about giving him to them. On one hand of course I would miss him but on the other hand I think he would be happier there. And Brenda already said she would be more than happy to take him. I just have to solidify my resolve. I think what I need is an older cat that likes the quiet. I live by myself and there isn't a lot of activity here. And no I didn't take Amanda's cat. In the end my cat and Amanda's cat just weren't capatable. Charles' mom took him and it worked out well because her kitty is going to have to be put to sleep soon. So I think having Blaine will help her heal her broken heart....
Well I need to go so I won't be late again today...hope you all have a great Friday...Bye

Good Morning Illinoisans,
This morning I am going for a swim and then I have to get my hairs cut and go get dog and cat food.
Last night, we had aerobics and I found out the beast who runs it is an ex-Army drill sargeant. She makes you drop and do 10 push-ups if you are late for class. Nobody is ever late. And if you do not count out loud when you are doing your reps, she makes the entire pool up the quantity of the rep from 10 to 20-30-40 etc.. Last night because a new lady refused to count out loud we had to do 70 reps of squats. Needless to say, my dupa is sore this morning. It's funny her class is always so loaded. I guess we all secretly like to be abused.
Tonight, we are going to see our favorite band, Nova Soul, play during dinner in Morris. That is always fun. I intend to strictly adhere to my diet no matter what. The restaurant is known for their grass-fed beef so I think I will have a small steak.
Thanks for all your kind words of support regarding my situation with my daughter. You all are so awesome.

Sharon- I had to go back and read. I missed the post about your daughter...sorry about that. I hate when people use their kids as weapons against you. Because in the end it's the kids that lose.
I know how it is to deal with family with mental issues. My mom had bipolar, but when I was growing up it was called manic depressive. she would try to commit suicide about once a year. I really feel bad for your granddaughter. It's a hard life to live with a mother with a mental illness that refuses treatment. Hopefully your granddaughter will have a strong adult person to go to for support like I did...I know you have been cut out her life right now.

I am working today and possibly going for a drug test at lunch for the airport gig. I will be greeting passengers and helping them find their way. Sounds kind of fun.
I am walking in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk tomorrow morning and attending a pot luck at the neighbor's on Sunday. Tonight is Olivia's last football game so I am not sure what Todd and I will do.....at home.....all alone......maybe have a nice dinner.
Olivia is cleared for surgery and we have our hotel reservations so we are set. I just have to keep her healthy for 2 weeks. After the surgery, she is not supposed to blow her nose or sneeze for a whole week. That might be a bit tricky.
Gotta get back to work now.

Hello Everyone!
I have been up and running all morning. I had a heart appointment this morning with my cardiologist. He thinks I am doing fine. Lisa, do you agree with me that if he gained 100 pounds he would make a perfect Santa. This guy is so cute and has a twinkle in his eye!
Then I ran and picked up a prescription at my regular doctors, stopped by the Y and then went to hobby lobby. Now I am home. Gage is here so it is always fun with him around.
Smokie decided to give us a shock this morning. He got up on the toilet and used it! No training or anything! I was shocked.
Crystal, I am sorry Jasper does not like his new place. You could always get him a companion. I love how my kitties play together. They are so cute. I hope you get your new phone tonight. I am so glad you have been able to talk to Amanda. That is such a great thing.
Sharon, you are a glutton for punishment! A drill sergeant huh? I always thought that some of them acted like them but to actually have one? Oh my!
Dawn, your new "job" sounds wonderful. Too bad it is not for pay. You will be really good at it. Maybe they will see what a gem you are and offer to pay you not to lose you. I sure hope so. I's like to know just how you are to prevent someone from sneezing. That will be a great trick!

Good morning,
I went to see my GP today, she thinks my leg swelling is due to me sitting to long at work, without getting a break. So, we are using the stockings again, limiting salt and getting up and moving every hour for a couple of min. If it diesn't godown, she wants me to call her within 10 days, ans we will go from there. I also talked to her about the tumor on my back, and we made an appointment with a specialist forthat in Nov. So, we are getting somewhere.
Sharon, we also have and are dealing with mental health issues within our family. My MIL thought she always had to be sicker then everyone around her, also tried to commit suicide once, and put us through hell with actusations. My cousin in St. Louis, beside being in a nursing home, and a crisis everyday or two, is bipolar also. So, I can relate to your problems also. When you are "allowed", to see your grand, make sure she knows you are there for her, a phone call away.
Nancy, you know, cats are people too. You can love them one min. and the next they are naughty kids.
