I saw the pictures...Hubert did a wonderful job.  Those cabinets looked like they were built there with the house.  Did he build those cabinets???  If he did he did great.  If I owned my home I would want some built...I love built-ins. 

Yes Crystal, he did. The center bottom cabinet was a old buffet. He worked off of a picture in Better Homes and Gardens/September issue.

Early good afternoon. I guess I need to go up and put my Pack Jersey on or maybe I will layer and wear my Singletary jersey and my Crosby jerseys and that way one of the teams will win. I think it is iffy for the Bears.

We went to one of our local Lutheran churches today for a Christmas Cantata.  There was wonderful scripture read, 2 handbell choirs, choir and brass players. We went to it last year and really enjoyed it.

I just came home from another of our local churches that has a resale shop and made a hall for $22. I bought 3 pairs of dress slacks and three tops (one is silk) and a necklace. Two of the tops are Croft and Barrow brand that is sold at Kohl's. The necklace I will take apart to use the beads. It is sort of like jade. All of the merchandise was 1/2 off this weekend. They will open again in the spring.

Man, Crosby is kicking like crap . . .

I have ground turkey, mushroom, onion tomato sauce cooking on the stove. I will cook my last spaghetti squash from the garden to go with it.

Hello folks!

We went to the Kantorei boys choir this afternoon. It is a completely awesome presentation. The boys voices are exquisite and they are so well behaved. WE have gone in the past and it is totally worth it. They are doing another concert on Friday the 21st at First Lutheran in downtown Rockford. Worth driving to come and hear it. They do have a page on Facebook.

We had an Open house last night. It was really fun and people stayed late. We had a really good time and enjoyed the folks so much. There were all kinds of connections between people who thought they didn't know each other but ended up knowing the same people. One woman re-met her Girl Scout leader from 40 years ago. We were exhausted but it was truly fun. We have plenty of time to recover now.

No more holiday plans till Christmas Day so it's smooth sailing. We also have tons of leftover food so we'll be eating meatballs and cheese for the nest few days--it's protein!
