Hair loss right on schedual--Yuk

Dont know why i thought i would escape this but sure enough i didnt. Its comming out in handfulls today. thank goodness i cut it short so its not too too bad. since its thick i should be gratefull lol. oh well, the joys of wls Giovanna

yeah its started with me although my mother pointed out that I have ALWAYS lost a lot of hair this time of the year so am i sure its not just the winter shedding process or actual hair loss due to surgery.. DOES IT MATTER MOTHER???? NOOOOOOOOO its still coming out!!!!! Debby

Hi there. I too thought hair loss would not strike ME. I too was wrong. It came out in clumps so large I really got worried. After 3 months it stabolized for me. Took another 3 months before it started coming back in. I added another vitamin to my regiment-Skin*Hair*Nails by Natrol. There are many variations of this same kind of vitamin. It worked to help bring in stronger hair. One strange note though, my hair has always been straight. The new hair came in curly and thick. My hairdresser said that often happens with chemo patients or others that loose it due to a major surgery. Keep your chin up, it should pass. Dyanna

Hi, I too hoped the hair thing would pass me by but no lol. It will last about 100 days. I added Biotion 1500mcg three times a day with meals to my vitamins and really watching my protein like a hawk. The hair thing is scary I ended up cutting off 8 inches of hair I looked down at the floor and half expected it to grow 4 legs and a tail and walk away. It does gwet better and will come back it's just a major trama when its happening. Mine is starting to stop and I'm hoping with everything I take and do it will stop soon. Your gonna be ok

Giovanna, mine started falling out about 2-3 months post op but has stopped, now for the most part (I'm 7 months out) don't stress it, it'll grow back
