Hi all!  I got home around 245 or so (and went to daughter's game...bad me!!!  I'll be regretting that later!  haha)  I'll update more later but wanted to thank ALL of you for your honks, cards, prayers and support!  I wouldn't have made it though without all of it!  (And Dr L's good hands being guided my Savior!)    Thanks again to everyone!  Talk more soon!  hugs to all  ......Ruth

The worst part of the surgery, for me was the gas pain afterwards!  I haven't had any pain meds since 8am today, and I only took those because I was told that getting up from the xray table was kinda rough!  I think I "pushed the button" maybe 5-6 times my whole hospital stay.  I WILL be taking something tonight tho!!  I want to sleep!  Her game was good!  She pitched 3 innings and only allowed 1 hit, no runs!  They won!  It was cool!  Glad I was there!  Thanks all! Glad to see your are home and doing well!! Thank you for the card, I didnt realize we could send them early or I would have sent you one too! I felt bad when I read it and realized, but I do appreciate it. I remember them handing them to me when I got into my room out of recovery and I couldnt even get the darn things out of the envelopes! Glad you're home, Ruth. Don't do too much too soon. Remember you just had surgery (as if you could forget, right?) Having offered that note of caution...you go girl!
