recognize who you are looking at.  I can't believe the transformation.  I look at myself in the mirror and it does not look like my body.  I still have that image of myself from before surgery.  How long does it take for it to really sink in???
I am also very excited to say that I have reached a milestone!  As of yesterday,  I am NORMAL!!!  My BMI is finally in the normal range.  I started back at the gym.  Planet Fitness is really nice gym.  I love the gym.  It is such a good feeling to finish a work out there.  I so love my RNY. It took me a long time to come to the decision to have this surgery and I am so glad I did!!!!
I hope everyone is having a great day!!!

HI Michelle,  I was just  telling my DH that same thing this weekend.  Sometimes I catch my reflection and it takes a minute to sink in, that I'm no longer the old 246 lbs. me.  I'm wearing size 10 jeans and small scrubs.  I can't really wrap my mind around it sometimes.  Good for you for going back to the gym.  I am trying to work out more too, but working full time evenings is making that pretty tough.  You go girl!!!

I still avoid mirrors - totally shocks me when I come upon one, my  mind is totally messed up with body image.

Congrats on being "normal"!!!
