Hi nice to here from you. there is now a support group at
4:30-5:45PM The Aroostook Medical Center McCain B Conference Room
the first wednesday s of the month. They are free and are run by Nicole Doughty.
There was a need for that support group in that area after the other dr got done doing surgery
that emmc started a group there. I guess they have a great turn out.
Try it.
Hope all is well and take care

Nice to "see ya", Keela! I think our bodies kinda "settle" in where they are comfy! I had gotten down to 119 (too thin, according to hubster) and now I kinda hover between 125 and 130...depending how much junk I eat! It's harder to lose now, but it CAN be done...remember the basics! Protein first, small portions, eat slowly, no drinking with meals. You can do it! Good luck!
Topic: RE: My Hair!
I lost mine/it got REALLY thin from months 3-6. It got better after that and now I am back to "normal". I used the Nioxin shampoo but not sure how much it actually helped. I also took the GNC hair, nail, and skin vitamin...not sure how much it helped either but at least I felt like I was doing something!
Good luck!

Topic: abdominal pain
Hello all I have not been on here in a long time, I am 4 1/2 years post op and for the last 2+ months have been having severe abdominal pain and it seems to be getting worse. The pain woke me up last night and I could not go back to sleep. I have been to my pcp and she ran blood work last month nothing showed. She ordered an ultra sound all normal. She then gave me pepsid and mylox, both of which do not help. I am at a loss and the pain is so bad I am thinking of the emergency room tonight. Any ideas anyone else have this issue

Keela...highest 246/ surgery day 233/ current 155 goal 130

HI all, its been a long time since I posted on here. I am almost three years out and am feeling like I need to regroup. I have rebounded about 20 pounds and am feeling really bad about it and cannot seem to go back down. That being said I AM working out a lot so I know some of that weight is muscle, but my mind can't come to grip with what the scale says. I am a perfectly healthy weight, but I want to be thin like I was. I know there are a lot of newbies, but if any of you have some wisdom to share I'd appreciate it. Hope you're all doing well

Topic: My Hair!
So, My hair is thining very fast. I have always had long straight hair and now I am actually thinking about cutting it short! I am 4.5 months out.
I have read that taking Biotin can help a little. Anyone have any suggestions? Does it continue for months? I do see some new pieces growing straight up on top of my head LOL
