from a former okie

hello everyone!! i was invited by another okie weight loser and wanted to come on and say hi.  i lived in South OKC up until 2 years ago and moved to the Boston area.  I miss all of my okie friends and surf this site from time to time to just get back the oklahoma feel.  I miss it so!!!  anyways, just wanted to say hello...

Welcome. You don't have to be from OK to post here (at least I don't think so). My surgeon is Dr. Walton **** so that's what drew me here at first. The okies here are very special (I mean that in the best way).

Hi, Kim!  I'm so glad you're here.  You will find that this is a great group of Okies!  You will get so much support from these wonderful people.  By the way...Kim's surgery is this month...August 26th.  We're going to be making room for you on our "looser's bench"!!!  You're about to begin an awesome journey with us!!!   Let us know if you have questions.  Someone always tries to answer from their experiences or someone will try to find out an answer.  Take care....

I see you are up for surgery in a week or so. Are you nervous about it ? It will be here before you know it and you will be starting your new life! 
 This board is great and you will find a wealth of information from all that have gone before you.Feel free to ask anything you are concerned about or anything great that is happening to you on your new walk. 
 I am still waiting for a few issues to fall into place but I am praying it will be soon.
