Dr Glaser Appt
Yesterday I went to see Dr Glaser and he gave Dr Huynh the go ahead to book surgery date
I have my appt with surgeon on April 28 to get my date!!! So excited. My appt with Dr Glaser was quick. He did a EKG, reading of my heart and asked about 20 quick questions checked my breathing and was done. I think having my sleep study done was a bonus because everyone ahead of me(about 3 ppl) were being sent for studies. Just excited so thought i'd write about it.

I have to share a small story about Dr. Glazer with you.
About three years ago, a friend of mine underwent an RNY with Dr Huynh and Dr. Glazer was her internist as well.
Pre-op, she went for her checkup with Dr. Glazer, and was feeling kind nasty that day. She was a little faint when she got into the examining room, and he very quickly established that she was in the middle of a heart attack.
He acted incredibly quickly, and had her over in Emerg within minutes.
He saved her life.
Her subsequent surgery went very well, and she's lost over 100 pounds - kept most of it off.
Dr Glazer was my internist as well, so I had great faith in his looking after the rest of me while my surgeon worked his magic.
I happened to be speaking to another medical support person at HRRH in a professional capacity, and mentioned that Dr. Glazer was the internist assigned to me. This person showed me Dr. Glazer's research requests (they were many in number) and ALL of them dealt with complications during and after bariatric surgery. He takes his job very very seriously and I was most impressed with him.

Thanks for the story. Makes me feel alot better and confident in them.
