London and Area Meetings - changes

Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay in getting this message out. Due to exams being help at St. Joseph's hospital we are unable to have our May meeting in the usual location. The Hession Lecture room has been refurnished and will no longer suit our needs. We will move to a new room at St. Josephs for the end of June meeting and all meetings after.

The May 29 meeting only will be at Mount Hope which is on the other side of Richmond Street kitty corner to St. Joseph's hospital from 2-4pm. The entrance is still off of Grosvenor Street.

Upon entering Mt. Hope turn left and follow the hall to the end where you will come up to the Recreation Hall Rm #V044 & V074.

On street parking is free on Sundays in London.

Also Wednesday, May 18 will be the next coffee night. This is a very informal meeting where you can talk one on one with other members outside of the group setting. Just a coffee and chat night. We meet at Tim Hortons on Highbury Avenue south of the 401 at Wilton Grove Road at 7pm.

We will be having a guest speaker (plastic surgeon) at the June 26 meeting. I will send out the details for that at a later date. If you have questions you would like asked at that meeting but don't want to ask them yourself submit them to me and I will make sure they get answered.

Tammy everyone is welcome to attend our meetings. We have people at every stage of the process (from those doing research to those that are years out of surgery). You are also welcome to bring a support person with you too. Hope to see you at the next meeting.

Argh, I have a baby shower on the 29th so I can't attend :(, and the 18th is My SIL's birthday so I am out with that too. BOOOOOO

I look forward to hearing from the Plastic Surgeon in June.

There are many people at the meetings who have been a huge support to me and I look forward to the meetings each month. I am struggling a bit right now with stress that I am trying to keep in check, but some days the head hunger beats me.

Trish, you will be missed. I know first hand what stress can do to us. Not knowing for over a month what was up with my job sure did a number on me, my eating and my whole outlook.
I am slowly getting back in the groove now.
