Saw Surgeon today ... and GOT MY DATE!!

ARGH!!! Beth!!!

You know I like you a lot but ARGH!!!!

Megan, Beth got very, very, very, very lucky in that the planets were aligned just right (and she won't deny this) and I think Krista really, really, really likes her (are you taking some of those cakes over to st. joe's??). I'm being silly only because I am very happy for Beth even though the jealousy is killing me! Anyway Beth lucked into a cancellation for her nurse/nutritionist appointment weeks and weeks and weeks ahead of where she would have been otherwise and she's got that horseshoe somewhere that things have just been smooth sailing all the way since. St. Joe's said at my orientation (a week before Beth's I might add, just so you get an idea why I am sitting here turning all shades of green and I've still got 16 days to go before my nurse/nutrition appt) that surgery was being booked 2 to 6 months after the orientation. So it really depends on the centre how quickly things proceed.

All kidding aside I am so happy for you Beth!! Better get over to the bulk barn and get those flavourings for the optifast!!

Excellent news Beth!!!!  So glad the CT Scan was nothing more than a cyst.  I see the surgeon tomorrow at 12:00 so hopefully I will get a call from Krista later in the day with my surgery date.  Maybe we'll be roomies. lol Your post has made me very happy for you and excited for me!

Hey, I am a newbie on here, but have been following your story because we seem to roughly have the same time line.  I have the appointment with the surgeon on May 26th  and will have the Education class that same afternoon.

I am really hoping to get a date so I can plan things for work.
