Laryngitis Question

Totally off topic but maybe some of you can help me.
I caught some kind of freaky upper respiratory infection and with that came laryngitis. I work in counselling and not having a voice is well...kind of a hinderance and since I am trying to save as many sick days as possible for surgery this fall I was wondering if anyone had any home remedies for laryngitis so that I can get my voice back?
Thanks kindly,
Melissa

My suggestion would be a bottle of Chloraseptic.
It numbs the "raw" area in your throat, while disinfecting the tonsil/larynx area as well.
You spray it down your throat, one spray on each side of your "gullet".
ingredients:
-FD&C Red No. 40
-Flavor
-Glycerin
-Purified Water
-Saccharin Sodium
-Phenol 1.4%
