If you have these at home check to make sure they are not spoiled. I had two cases that were chunky and returned them to Costco with no issues. Mine had an end of December 2011 expiry but they had some others returned with a February 2012 expiry also.

Ughhhhh not this again. i had to return 6 cases last year because of the same problem. Shows I'm not drinking enough protein since I haven't noticed...lol Thanks for the heads up girl!

It's not every case just certain lots it seems. I've had them lots of times before and they were fine.

I had the thick Premier problem too. Exp Jan 13/12. I contacted company and was told that for awhile they had changed their formula to a creamier thicker version however with the many complaints they are now back to smooth milk chocolate formula they had used in the past. Anyone who has purchased the more recent (back to the old formula version) will notice a difference in the appearance and coloring on the individual shakes. I was told to take any "thick" ones back to Costco for immediate replacement. Apparently Costco is aware of this problem and there should be no problem with your exchanges.

You would think that if they are aware of the problem they would have instructed Costco to take them off the shelves. Perhaps it is not that they are spoiled, just not of an even consistancy - I wonder if blending them would fix that.

I have 3 cases sitting there for when I am on the bench... sure wish I knew whether they were the "suspect" ones.

I just returned mine last week....disgusting they were all chunky!
The new case seems perfectly fine so far. But I will never drink directly out of the carton again! I'll always pour it into a glass so I can check it first! lol

I know what you mean. I almost drank one right from the carton and it was so chunky. I usually blend them with a banana and some PB2 powdered peanut butter when I am home but I threw a bunch in the fridge in our trailer to have for breakfast. So gross!
