Am I ever going to get this?  I really get confuzzled over portion sizes for meat etc.  I've bought a bunch of chicken breasts and extra lean ground beef and want to divide it up into portion sizes for hubby and I.  Are portions before or after cooking????  Is 1 breast divided between 2 peeps too much?

Would someone please be patient and help me  with this!!!  Thanks!!!

Weigh your cooked meat to get portion sizes.  If your plan says 2 oz of chicken (or 1 oz), cook it and weigh it on your kitchen scale.  Same for all cooked meats.

Hi.  As far as what is too much as a portion, that really depends on how far out you are and what your new pouch can handle.  I'm almost 5 months out and max out at about 2 1/2 oz of chicken, less for beef.
