Glad to hear that everything went well. It's awesome to be home so that you can sleep in your own bed. I look forward to hearing all your wow's. Good luck.

Congratulations Bogie, on having your surgery and not having to be reschedules to a different day! I'm glad to hear that your pain level is low and you had no trouble passing your gas. Take it easy and let yourself get comfortable and recover at your own pace now that you're home. Bet it feels pretty good to be on the bench!!!!!

Welcome home B!!!

When I woke up in recovery, there was a sealed container sitting on the side table.  I was like.... what the hell was that?  It said 'Give this to pt, Dr. Hong'.  I haven't taken it out because frankly, there is still a lot .....meat on it (muscle and tissue).  I don't think I will be using it as a center piece at Christmas.

Gald you are home and well on your way to recover.

I hear you girl. I finally had the guts to take a peek this morning. Mine did not have very much tissue attached as I am assuming that it broke early in the process before it had a chance to scar in. I think us nurses are wierd we like all the details even if they are gross LOL. Anyways I am glad it is out and I can start this journey with a clean slate. Have you updated your tracker lately? How are you doing?

There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.  Glad you are home and things are going well.  Just take it easy, sip, walk, rest, toot.... sounds almost like a dance step!
