Lord Help Me! Optifast!

The optifast I tried at my nutrition class today made me gag and caused my eyes to water!  Afterwards I had the opti-burps for a good forty five minutes.

It will be a long couple of weeks for me for sure!

oh that sucks. I hear it gets easier. And I also heard that there are SF flavor syrups at the bulk barn you can add to them.

You can get them at starbucks, home sense, winners and other places too - to the vanilla you can also add crystal light, cinnamon (or other flavors you might like).  There is a section in the recipes for optifast.  check it out

I just bought the DaVinci Raspberry one and it is pretty god in the vanilla!

oh and my fav was decaf hazelnut coffee in the vanilla - yummmm

I was feeling a little down in the dumps afterward because I was so optimistic that they'd be totally ok and that I'd not have a problem with them - this totally shocked me.   I will definitely have to try some of those ideas and check out the recipe forum.

They also taste much much better with ice crushed in a blender.

I also found adding more water than they suggest makes them much easier to handle, plus I added instant coffee to mine and it was awesome. Mostly it's trial and error for what you will like. Good Luck !!! and keep your eye on the prize 

I don't know how they served it, but in a blender with some ice, nice and cold, I loved it!!! craved it actually.....don't worry...
