Welcome to the WAYE thread - it really helps to plan and keep on track!

Eggs are difficult for a lot of people.  Try them again in a month or so.  I couldn't eat them for about 3 1/2 years. lol

Ok.. now that I'm supposed to be on real food... let's give this a shot!  LOL

B - bran flakes/milk and a 1/4 banana
S - milk - 1/2 cup
L - spinach/risotto/cheese - aiming for a 1/2 cup altogether - doubt I'll make it though!
S - applesauce and 1/2 cheese string
D - Going to try a fish recipe - have to look in the recipe section - with cauliflower
S - protein shake if needed

Hope that looks ok for a menu..

Exercise:  Walked 1.5 km this morning.  Knee is killing me, so won't be going at lunch, but might try to get to the gym to swim for a half hour tonight instead

Have a super day everyone  :)

Mornin' y'all!

TGIF!!!!!!  And a semi quiet weekend for me.

B - trying to drink a protien shake made with diluted OJ (it's a mango flavoured powder)
L - chicken and veggies
S - Almonds if needed
D - not sure yet, See what the kids want to eat.

Could anyone give me some suggestions for breakfast?????  I had issues with milk before surgery, and thought that they had gotten better.  They are back.  So now the breakfast I was having isn't available any more.  Could anyone suggest a good breakfast that I can eat on the run (well, on my hour long commute), that don't need to be cooked and don't have dairy in them?  At night I seem to tolerate it better, but can't even eat cheese in the morning.

Thanks for any suggestions.
Cathy

Cathy, are there foods that you "feel like" having in the morning?  That aren't necessarily breakfast-type foods?  If so, go for it.  I've had leftovers, chicken, chili... whatever suits my fancy that day. lol

Hmm, there's an idea.  Just have to get some good leftovers now.  I used to eat lasagna for breakfast (pre-op), people thought I was weird, and I just said it was another meal.  Maybe I can keep some of my old habits, who knew.
