After reading some horrible reviews online about the accommodations near TWH, I decided to ask you all what your impressions were.

Can someone tell me where to stay?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

I go to Mount Sinai when I'm down but this place is even closer to TWH.

In the heart of Chinatown, on top of a Chinese mall, rooms are very clean, includes breakfast.  Can be hard to find the parking lot the first time as it's past the hotel but otherwise I'd recommend it.  I think it's $79 per night for the medical rate if there are 1 or 2 and $87 per night if 3 people.  Parking is reasonable as well.

We stayed at the Delta Chelsea. It was 89 a night and they do offer a hospital rate

You got a better hospital rate than we did.  We have been paying $129 there all summer but last year we were paying $89 so guess it just depends on the time of year.  We usually stay at the Westin now as they donate the room to my mom because of her illness but when they are booked up we try the Delta first then the Super 8 and then the Courtyard Marriott. I have a list of 10 hotels that offer decent rates for Mt. Sinai patients.

We stayed at the Super 8 on Spadina. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to TWH. Ask for Hospital stay rates. Bring proof of appointment.

We had a great experience with the Hotel Isabella - amazing hospital rates, inexpensive parking, and about a $12 cab ride from the hospital in a nice safe neighbourhood.    Stayed there for my surgery, and my husband's.   I think it was about $65 a night.  GREAT little restraunt in the lobby for your support person.
