What are you eating/doing today? (Thursday)
Morning all :)
It's a cold one out there! Working today, scrapbooking at lunch OR perhaps walking over to Civic to go to the Crafters Marketplace (local artists, Christmas theme, fabulous!), then home for dinner with Joe. He's off today, so hopefully he's cooking dinner. lol Oh! Small social experiment in the office fridge yesterday (since someone nabbed my LC cheese a few weeks ago... grrr...) - went to get one this morning and one is missing from the package! LOL Let's hope I still have one left for lunchtime. haha
Plan for today:
RNY - 5+ years - maintenance
B - coffee with milk x 2, protein shake
S - 1 LC herb & garlic wedge, 2 melba toast
L - small egg salad wrap on ww tortilla, lots of veggies, a little mayo
S - likely just some herbal tea or a cup of coffee
D - surprise! Protein and veg of some sort I'm sure.
S - sf/ff yogurt if I'm nibbly
Have a good one.

I woke up thinking it was Friday. Imagine my disappointment when I realized it was only Thursday! Ugh! Bought new sneakers last night. First pair of shoes in years that weren't WIDE WIDTH!!! They're so comfy! And they look great! They're black and pink :)
Work today. 10-6 seems like such a LONG day!!
I attempted to pack up some veggies today and....they were all rotted. Since I dont eat them often enough, they wasted away :( I'll buy some, but in smaller quantities at the grocer this weekend. I'm still finding it hard not to buy as much as I used to. Still having quantity perception issues.
On the menu today:
B: Protein Shake
S: 100g Greek Yogurt & 1/2 pomegranate [these are eaten usually 1hr apart]
L: Stuffed Mushrooms [the last of my batch from the other night :(]
S: If needed, another Protein Shake - finding I'm getting hungry between lunch [2pm] and hometime [6pm]
D: 2-3oz BBQ Beef. This is also the last of it :( It was really good.
I decided to make BBQ Pulled Pork for the potluck next week - too many allergies for the stuffed mushrooms :( Found out someone on the team is allergic to mushrooms, another is allergic to dairy. Back to the pulled pork. I'm going to try the recipe this weekend. I'm really craving BBQ flavors lately...damn Guy Fieri and his Triple D show!!

I hate it when that happens! But funny enough, I was trying to watch General Committee on our intranet today and couldn't figure out why it wasn't on. DUH - it's Thursday, not Wednesday!! haha
I think adding a protein shake mid-afternoon is an excellent idea.
And, finally, lol, let me know how your pulled pork turns out. I'd love the recipe.

On my 12 hour train ride home. Had myself 2 Starbucks bold before we left the train station. Snacks packed and will have to buy something for lunch on the train most likely unless I can convince my sis to bring me a chicken shwarma at the North Bay station since we stop for 15 mins. LOL
B - 2 wonderful cups of Starbucks, guts of an egg mcmuffin, threw the english muffin out
S - honeycrisp and babybel cheese
L - either a shwarma if my sis isn't in a meeting or the guts of a sandwich from the dining car and maybe homemade soup if they have a decent one today.
S - another babybel cheese, handful of mixed nuts
D - will eat when I get home so probably some leftovers, protein of some sort or chili...no idea what he took out while I was away.

By the way, did you like the Emeril Bold in the Keurig? I really liked it, but haven't found a place to buy it yet. The Timothy's bold is also REALLY good.
