5 Month Surgiversary

Today marks 5 months since I had my surgery at St. Joe's, by Dr. Hong. It's been a bit of a rollercoast ride, but most of it's been excellent. I'm down 78 lbs. I was hoping to be a bit further along, but still, I'm 78 lbs lighter than 365 days ago!!

I am so happy I did this. Sure, I miss some of my 'good ole favourites', but I don't miss being morbidly obese, out of breath, out of shape, and Size 26.

Thanks for all the helpful hints and chats. Everyone, as always, is very helpful and supportive - especially my Hamilton coffee night peeps and friends!

Beth thats fantastic!!! 78lbs in five short months. When in your life have you ever been able to say you lost 78 lbs period.

WTG Beth! Less than half a year and the positive changes are almost hard to comprehend, aren't they. WLS is the best thing I've ever done for myself.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
