Really OT: But I'd like to share if I may....
Consider it done. What a brave boy to be surviving such a horrible disease, and with a smile on his face. Cancer is the plague of our era and affects every single one of us-most of us multiple times throughout our lives. A woman from my mother's church died this past week from cancer. I was following her journey on FB and the day before she died, a picture was posted of her in her hospital bed- face swollen from Chemo, and no hair, but she had a bouquet of flowers in her lap and a smile that made me question how someone who so sick could push through and fight everyday, with a smile. If there is anything positive that can come from sickness, it is that these people are nothing short of a miracle in perseverance and an inspiration to everyone who hears their story. I'll definately keep Aleck in my prayers for complete healing and the strength to carry on his battle.
I certainly will - thank you for caring.

I will be thinking warm, postive thoughts for him! It's great that he got to meet the great one! As much as it a bad situation, it's good to know he is in the BEST place possible and receiving the BEST care possible, and I truly believe this, because I can't speak highly enough for every indidividual who works at Sick Kids and I hope he gets better!
Absolutely :) Just waiting on an email or text from his dad. Thanks.

I know. We all have a heavy heart today. Really hoping that Tom has the strength to email us tonight to let us all know what's going on.
