how long is the TWH 1on1 nut appt?

Just curious how long that appoinment usually runs for at TWH? is there anything that i have to bring to that appointment?

 It's an hour, and just remember to review your notes from the nutrition class, like the optifast and the eating requirements after surgery.  She will quiz you on the different stages, nothing hard but just do a review of the handout.  Good Luck you are well on your way!!

If you have a food journal you should bring that along as well.

I have already handed in my three food journal days when I first started my appointments.  They asked for them when I checked in.  Does the Dietian want more days?  Or are these the ones that you mean?

 Brenda, when I went for my Nut. Appt. @ TWH, she didn't need me to bring additional journals, the ones you handed in are fine... she will go over them with you. My appointment was 1hr 15 min, because she was running late that day.

 Just had my nutrition appt today at TWH and mine was only 50 minutes long..the nutritionist i had was  named Mary ..she was the same one who taught my group nutrition class...she's really nice and she does quiz you on the stages (pureed, soft foods) and their timeline and what foods are in that category but she just wants to know how much you know and how serious you are about the change in eating...she made me feel really comfortable..wish i could say the same about the receptionist...not nice at all today..

I go and see Mary on Feb 6th.  I'm thrilled that she is nice, it makes a difference.  Sorry about the receptionist, was it Sherry?  I was so surprised on how hectic that department is.

Bring a list of the vitamins you are planning to take post op.
They just ask you about eating post op ie how long on each stage, what you should avoid etc...
I had mine with Katie and she is really nice and easy to talk too.
