OT: BlackBerry Playbook

Anyone have must have/great apps that they can suggest to me?

I have trouble with my playbook getting internet all the time.  Seems my blackberry is too old to bridge them so I can't go off my blackberry data plan and Bell says im not due for an upgrade till April, oh unless I would like to pay $250 to upgrade a few months early which I don't...grrr. LOL
Anyway the Kobo only works when you are online so I found a great app called book reader which works on or off line as it stores the book on the playbook.  That way I can also get books from a multitude of places rather then just kobo.

Thanks Joanne - I do have Kobo, but I didn't realize  you had to be online!  I'll check out book reader for sure.

I agree with Joanne, Book Reader is great. it is hands down the best .99 cents I ever spent. It plays multi ebook formats and you can easily load them from your pc.

The other apps I have on it for now are games really. I mainly use it for surfing the net while not at home. I also loaded some movies and music on it while I was at TWH having surgery.

I have the new blackberry torch 9810 and have no issues bridging between my phone and playbook.

They are coming out with playbook 2.0 sometime in February which is supposed to be a much better operating system

thats ok, you will get the update. I bought mine in Sept knowing about the new operating system. A really good place for info on your blackbery is http://crackberry.com/   I lurk around that site every day.

when it comes out you will get a notification on your playbook, up along the top. you need to be connected to wifi in order to get it, its a big file so they wont allow you to download over the air(connected to your cellphone)
