Ooooh, Toni thanks!  I've heard about this book and my ex-husband swears that's how he quit smoking.  I'll definitely get it!

I have been 4.5 years smoke free and trust me, if I can do it, anyone can!  I LOVED smoking!  I'd smoke first thing in the morning and last thing at night.  Yes, once in a while I still miss it, but I don't miss the smelly breath, stinky clothes, looks and comments from people (especially my children), the nasty cough and frequent colds.  I used the nicoderm inhaler and found it heaven sent.  My hubby quit 3 months ago using it and his mood is so much better using it, than just going cold turkey.  I personally think that smoking will be a much bigger challenge than drinking and I applaud you for doing both at once.  Big hugs and smooches to you my friend, you can do this and we are all here to help you!

I had no idea you were a smoker, shocked the hell out of me. I had you up on a pedestal, our perfect Bariatric babe.

Seriously. You can do it.

I've been smoke free for over 2 years, was a 30 year smoker. Read the Book
The Easy Way to quit smoking" by allan Carr,
Fantastic book, you quit at the end of reading it.
I tried everything over the years and was surprised when this worked.

Drinking, well, that's another matter, i enjoy my occasional beverage.

take care Karen, we are here for you.
