I'm going a la carte and I'm dreaming here, not actually consuming!

Champagne and OJ
Bacon
Smoked salmon with cream cheese and finely sliced red onions on a toasted bagel
Eggs Benedict
Several coffee's

See, even for a dream breakfast, I do like my protein!

I was always partial to crisp waffles piled high with sweetened strawberries and real whipped cream.  HMMM ... no protein here.

there's protein in the whipped cream!!!! and a teensy amount of protein in the strawberries.

From that menu, it would either be the smoked salmon benny or the crepe with grilled chicken, asparagus and swiss.

Now I may just have to make eggs benedict tomorrow after I pick up some smoked salmon today. LOL

My breakfast of choice was always Eggs Benedict. Whenever I'd go out for breakfast that's what Id order. Now...breakfast isn't very appealing anymore. I don't like bacon anymore either so my stand by 2nd choice - BLT is out too

Okay, dreaming from my former life, and the above menu aside, my dream breakfast (which I used to be able to consume, but now can only dream about), comes from Cora's.  I used to looooooove their fresh fruit crepes with custard inside and topped with whipped cream and english cream.  Oh my goodness- just putting it into words, I can't believe I ever consumed that much.  If you've ever been there, you know that their crepes are HUGE, and I used to eat the whole dish, no problemo!
