Surgeon Questions

I am working on a list of questions for the surgeon.

What questions did you ask?  What questions did you wish you asked?  What did you need to know that you didn't know?

By the time I had my surgeon's appt, I just wanted to do it... I knew what I needed to know to succeed :D

I asked questions about

The medication I am currently taking and how I would be able to take it
If I could take gasx right after surgery as i had a terrible experience with the gas they pump in you in a previous surgery
If i could request having the gall bladder removed
under what cir****tances would they stop the surgery once inside
when i would see him after the surgery

just of few of mine....

The only question that I asked was how many of these surgeries had he himself performed previously. If I don't worry about the guy in the ****pit responsible for suspending a million pounds of aluminum, restless passengers, and the odd nutcase with a death wish, seven miles in the air for about three hours ........ I shouldn't worry about the surgeon and large team of other professionals who are there to make sure he's still sober and to cheer him on.

For the record, on Monday I counted ten people in the OR as the Anesthesiologist held my hand, although for the life of me I couldn't figure out why the fireman was yelling at the jockey. :-)

I thought of a couple of others that you could ask the surgeon that I have listed as questions that I will be asking the surgeon too!! ask him/her "How long have you been performing bariatric surgeries? What made you become a bariatric surgeon?"
