Just got the call

 So HRRH just called me, I meet with Dr. Huyny on March 7th.
So I am just a little confused...so do I do the Nut/Diet/Social after I meet the surgeon?

Gastric class March 20th
Nurse/ Dietician/ Social Worker March 29 starting at 9 am

yay for you!!!! i cant remember the order of who you see when, anymore. Maybe someone more recent will be able to tell you. Dr. Huynh was my surgeon. He's fabulous. very reassuring.

Hi, I had my consult with him yesterday, quite a nice man.  I was also given the appointments fo rthe nut/nurse and social worker the same time, they will be in March as well as the gastric bypass class.   Good luck

 What happens at the appt?

He tells you about the risks, i think he feels you out to make sure you are ready and have indeed tried everything else and that you know what to expect.  I think it may be different for everyone.  he is nice tho.  Let me know.

 do they do all the tests for infection and stuff that day?

no tests at all.  Just a consult

 So I dont have to shave my legs then!!!

I am also at HRRH but with Dr Klein.  They sent me for bloodwork when I met with the nurse but that has been the only tests that I have been put through.  hopefully this helps :)
